With effect from 14/07/2014, the departure
time of Train no. 16616 Chemmozhi express from Coimbatore has been changed from
11.55 PM in the night to 00.15 mid night. It has been observed that since the train
is now leaving at mid night, some passengers have misunderstood the date of
departure and missed the train. For example, if a passenger has booked the
ticket for Train No.16616 on 25.07.2014, that means that the ticket is for
journey at the odd hours of Friday (25.07.2014), in other words after mid night
of Thursday (24.07.2014). So, the passengers are hereby advised to keep the above
fact in mind while booking tickets as well as planning for boarding the train.
For any further clarifications/assistance, the passengers are advised to contact
the nearest railway reservation office.
