Special Drive in Salem Division, Southern Railway to ensure clean toilet facilities in Railway Stations

With a view to improve the conditions of toilets in Railway Stations, Salem Division, Southern Railway, is conducting a 10 day drive till 20th April, 2016, and will  audit and ensure clean toilet facilities in all railway stations.  Teams consisting of officials from Medical, Engineering and Commercial departments have been formed for this purpose in Salem Division.  The travelling public can also give feedback on the cleanliness of toilets in various stations, in case they come across any deficiencies.

  1. Toilets at stations are locked during night time. In emergencies where passengers will go during night time. So, toilets should function round the clock. This applicable to all the divisions.
