Electrification of Coimbatore North-Mettupalyam - energisation of overhead lines- warning to public not to go near the electric traction

The track electrification works  in the Coimbatore North-Mettupalayam section with 25 kv ac after has been completed and the overhead line is going to be activated from 12.00 hrs on 21-3-15 and subsequently trials will be conducted using electric locomotive. It is therefore advised to the public that nobody should go near the electric traction in view of high voltage electric lines and to keep off the tracks.
