The existing coaches of Train No.T.No.12243/12244
Coimatore-Chennai-Coimbatore Shatabadi Express are being replaced with high
capacity state-of-the art LHB (Linke Holfmann Bush) coaches.
As a result of the revision in composition of
coaches for the above train, the seats for the passengers who have booked in C9 and C10 coaches between 01.11.2014 and
09.11.2014, will be re-allotted at the time of chart preparation. Hence, it
is requested that the passengers who have booked in C9 and C10 may kindly verify their coach and seat numbers on the
date of journey, before boarding the train. The information will be available
in the reservation centers/reservation charts.
The advantages of the LHB coaches are they have
more seating capacity (78 seats compared to 73 seats of the conventional AC chair cars), better riding comfort & safety features and are fitted with the microprocessor controlled high capacity air
conditioning system, which gives passengers better comforts during summer and
winter season.
