Temporary Cancellation/Change in timings of Passenger Trains

Due to construction of Limited Use Subway by the Madurai Division in between Madurai and Tiruparankundram section, the following changes have been made in the Passenger Train  timings     

I. Partial Cancellation/Change of timings on 29.06.2014

1.  T.No.56319 Nagercoil-Coimbatore  Passenger between Virudhunagar and Madurai  on Sunday.

2.  T.No.56320 Coimbatore-Nagercoil Passenger between Madurai and Virudhunagar on Sunday

3.  T.No.56319 Passenger between Madurai and Coimbatore will be starting late by 90 mts. from Madurai 

II. Delay/Detention of Trains on 30.06.2014 & 02.07.20114

1. 56319 Nagercoil Coimbatore  Passenger will be detained/delayed at Tirunelveli for 70 min and will leave after the arrival of 56767 Tuticorin-Tiruchendur Passenger. The train will be again detained/delayed at Tiruparankundram and will   leave Tiruparankundram at 15.10 hrs with   110 min late. 

      2. T.No.56320 Coimbatore Nagercoil Passenger will be delayed/detained at Madurai for 60 minutes.

CHANGE IN TRAIN NUMBER AND TIMINGS & CONVERSION TRAINS INTO SUPER FAST TRAINS

The current ‘Zonal Railway Public Time Table’ and ‘Trains at a Glance’, which came into effect o­n 1^st July, 2013, will remain valid upto 31^stAugust, 2014.  Accordingly, the New Zonal Railway Public Time Table & Trains at a Glance will come into effect o­n 1^st September, 2014.

The following Mail/Express trains will be operated as Superfast trains with effect from the dates mentioned against each.

I.                    b.  Change in Timings :

Consequent to the conversion of Ernakulam – Patna – Ernakulam expresses as Superfast the revised timings of the undermentioned stations of Patna – Ernakulam Superfast express (Train No.22644 leaving Patna from 17.7.2014) are appended below.

II.             a. The following trains have been diverted via. Coimbatore w.e..f. 01/07/2014. The change in timings due to diversion via. Coimbatore is given below against each train.

II. b.     Consequent to the diversion of T.No. 16527/16528 Yesvantpur – Kannur Express via. Coimbatore with stoppage at Coimbatore, the stoppage at Podanur for the train is cancelled with effect from 01.07.2014 ex. Yesvantpur for T. No. 16527 and T. No. 16528 leaving Kannur from 01.07.2014

III. T. No 15905 Kanniyakumari – Dibrugarh Vivek Express the days of service and departure time ex. Kanniyakumari has been changed with effect from 24/07/2014.  T. No 15905 will now leave Kanniyakumari at 23.00 hours o­n Thursdays (instead of 14.45 hours o­n Saturdays). The train will arrive at Dibrugarh o­n Mondays at 07.15 hours (instead of 03.30 hours o­n Wednesdays).

IV.         Due to diversion of two pairs of Mail/Express trains via. Coimbatore and upgradation of 8 pairs of Mail/Exp trains to superfast trains, the changes in departure from originating station or arrival timings at destination of the following Mail/Exp/Superfast trains will come in to force w.e.f. the date mentioned against each train.
