With a view to provide speedy assistance to the train passengers in the event of theft, harassment, pickpocket, or other criminal incidents in the rail premises that include railway station, railway coaches, etc., the 4 Digit Security Helpline No.1322 has been activated by Salem Division, Southern Railway. Passengers can call 1322 from any landline or mobile number from any service provider, if they face any untoward incident as listed above, either in stations or trains. This service is available 24x7. Once a passenger calls this Helpline Number, the complaint will be registered by RPF Control and action taken will be informed to the complainant from RPF. As part of steps by Indian Railways to improve the customer service, this service is fully operational all over the Salem Division.
