The
fifth day of Rail Swachhta Saptah (Railway Cleanliness Week) was Celebrated as -Swachch
Parisar Divas – Clean Complex Day today, 21.09.2016 (Wednesday). Today, cleaning
of circulating areas of railway stations and other surroundings including the
drainages in stations, were undertaken.
Officers and staff under the guidance of Sri Chandra Pal, Addl. Divisional
Railway Manager, Salem, undertook the cleaning activities in Salem, Erode,
Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Mettupalayam, Coonoor, Ooty, Karur, Morappur,
Thiruppathur, etc., In Coimbatore junction, Chief Electrical Distribution Engineer, Southern Railway, Sri B.V.Chandrasekar, participated in the Swachhta Saptah campaign and involved in the cleaning activities along with the officers and staff.
